Pothos plants can indeed be propagated from a leaf, even if it doesn't have a node. While pothos cuttings with nodes have a higher success rate, you can still attempt to propagate from a leaf without a node. I tried, and it didn't even take that long. Here is a photo of the pothos leaves that rooted after about 2-3 weeks in just water.

Here's how you can do it:
Select a Healthy Leaf: Choose a healthy pothos leaf. While a leaf with a node is ideal, you can still use a leaf without a node for this method.
Trim the Leaf: Trim the leaf at an angle to increase the surface area that will be in contact with water. Make sure the cutting is around 4-6 inches long.
Place in Water: Place the trimmed end of the leaf in a container of water, ensuring that the cut end is submerged.
Change Water: Change the water every few days to prevent bacterial growth and maintain the water's freshness.
Patience: It might take longer for roots to develop compared to cuttings with nodes. Be patient and keep an eye on the cutting.
Transplanting: Once you see roots growing, you can transplant the cutting into soil. Gently plant the cutting in a small pot filled with well-draining soil.
Remember that propagating from a leaf without a node might have a lower success rate, but it's worth a try. Make sure you provide adequate care and patience throughout the process.
